Achieve high gloss lacquer finished woodgrain cabinets in a simple one-step process.

RECOATPANEL is a prefinished laminated MDF panel designed to be stained & over coated with PU, NC or Polyester lacquers without any prior preparation. Recoat panel can also be used uncoated.

RECOATPANEL comes with a water resistant laminate coating which is permanently bonded to MDF with a D3 rated cross linked PVAC adhesive.

RECOATPANEL is available in a range of woodgrain colours in either single or double sided panels. Single sided Recoatpanel remains very stable with virtually no cupping or warping. Paneltec stocks matching hot-stamping foils for all Recoatpanel colours. Casket mouldings also available in all woodgrain finishes.

RECOATPANEL is the ideal panel for a wide range of applications including casket manufacturing, game cabinets, display shelving or anywhere a high gloss, woodgrain lacquer finish is required.

RECOATPANEL’s substrate is New Zealand made “Golden Edge” medium density fibre board (MDF). This is manufactured to strict ISO14001 standards and is compliant with the New Zealand Environmental Choice standard EC-32-09 for Furniture and Fittings. It is also FSC chain of custody certifiable. Recoat panel is safe for use in crematoriums.

All thicknesses are available either single or double sided.

As RECOATPANEL is designed to bond to solvent based lacquers, any cleaning products containing solvents or silicones should not be used. Recoatpanel may be wiped down with a soft damp cloth.
